Rock and Roll Pop Music from the Future

World Racketeering Squad are Reed Oliver, Isaac Priestley. Reed sings. Isaac sings and plays guitar and keyboards. Together they create rock and roll pop music from the future.

Located in Austin, Texas, they have been playing together since August of 2007. They write songs about love, girls, science, dinner parties, angels, quantum mechanics, and girls.

Their live shows include Reed on vocals, Isaac on guitar or keyboards, Bruce on drums, and additional friends sitting in on bass and harmonies. Their longer sets focus on bright, catchy electric rock/pop with a creamy acoustic set included.

They blend rock and roll, danceable pop and funk, mellow bossa nova and other jazz styles with a positive, upbeat outlook and strong melodies and vocal harmonies.

Come see World Racketeering Squad live and you'll be humming the fast, catchy chorus of "Panic", dancing to the raunchy funk of "Screwed You", grooving along with the soulful blues of "Hoarse Angel", or having your mind blown by the driving power of "Electromagnetic Pulse" and the epic "Omega in Love Versus the Supermonsters". One thing is for sure: you will leave happy.
